Guruji’s Journey

Journey

Childhood

Guruji was born into a humble family in Dugri Village, Malerkotla, Punjab, on the 7th of July 1952. His family had always been blessed by the birth of saints and fakirs through generations. Mataji (Guruji’s mother) has stated that she had no idea that a ‘Mahapurush’ of such magnitude would be born to her. According to the midwife, the day Guruji was born, she saw a snake and a strange kind of a bright light fill up the room. When the pandit (priest) made Guruji’s birth chart, he told Mata ji that this child is not just hers but belongs to the entire world.

Even as an infant, Guruji’s body would have a strong fragrance of rose, he never soiled his clothes and performed many miraculous acts that no one could understand. Guruji sometimes helped his father in farming, and the crop harvested would be in large amounts compared to others. His friends recall stories of Guruji filling the ink in a pen just by touching it. His professors used to get shocked by his sudden disappearance and reappearance from the classrooms.

Guruji went to school at the Dugri primary school and Government High School. He did his college from the Government College at Malerkotla. Guruji was a double M.A in English and Economics. He spoke fluent English and had beautiful hand writing. Yet, just to confuse us he would often ask us to spell certain words for him. He also knew all the questions of the tests beforehand as per his friend’s version. As a young boy he was often found in the fields sitting in Samadhi (meditation), completely unfazed by the burning sun or strong rains.

Guruji’s father did not believe in his way of life, he thought that he was pretending to be godman. One day he woke up to a strange sound in the early morning hours in Jalandhar Temple. He saw Guruji walking into a room with a lion behind him. He got scared and called the caretaker, who told him that Guruji is meditating in that particular room. That day he believed that his son is no ordinary human being.

Guruji’s urge for spiritual things was spending time at the Dera of Sant Sewa Dass Ji at Dugri. Santji was a saint of high order who had renounced worldly life and had a large following. Guruji would often go and sit at the Dera. His parents wanted him to concentrate more on studies than spending time with the sages. He would be locked in the room, and to their surprise they would find the door unlocked and Guruji sitting in the Dera. His parents gradually came to understand that their son is no ordinary man but God himself. His mother also started touching his feet and called him Guruji as he is now called by everyone. Guruji left his home in 1975 after college and worked at Punjab School Education Board in a clerical position in 1983. In his spiritual journey he would often stay with his acquaintances for a few days and then he would move from there. Sometimes he would also disappear for a certain period.

Spiritual Powers

Guruji with his heavenly divine and spiritual powers healed many incurable and life threatening diseases like cancer or heart issues and saved uncountable devotees. Incredibly mysterious to many, Guruji would bless umpteen number of people through his ‘divine langar and chai prashad’ and people’s sufferings would miraculously vanish. Once we are connected with Guruji, he never abandons us. He blesses us with his fragrance, dreams, messages from others, Amritvarsha and through many other ways to make his presence felt. Whether we go to him or not, he blesses us even if we pass his temple or Satsang. His divine aura and magnetism entice us to heal us from the worldly sufferings.

Guruji would often tell his sangat (devotees) to share their experiences and how they were blessed. He is always to bless us all with his manifold powers and put an end to our hardships. Even if Guruji is not in his physical form, he blesses through his Swaroop (picture) and showers immense blessings. Many devotees have witnessed Guruji’s divine darshan or him talking or blinking in his Swaroop. Guruji appears in his godly significant form blessing us with his ‘saakshat darashan’.

Journey

Mahasamadhi

Guruji attained Mahasamadhi on 31st, May 2007. Bade Mandir also known as Guruji ka ashram is the resting place of Guruji whose human form has left this Earth but his divine presence is still here among all his devotees and can be felt at all time. Guruji is the divine light that passed on to the human body to grant us the life-giving elixir. The glory of our Almighty Guruji can not be stated in mere words but can only be felt.

Guruji is around us, he is the ‘Ang Sang Sahai’, he is the exalted one who dispels all our woes and worries. Guruji through his miraculous ways constantly tells us that he does not abandon us in times of trouble. He cares about his people and communicates with them at every step, He has gifted us Shabads and Satsangs which release man from all the sins, sorrows and sufferings.

Guruji is our saviour today and will always be. He is always beside us emancipating us from the ocean of worldly existence. He teaches us the true meaning of ‘Shukrana’ (Gratitude) and ‘Surrender’. We bow down to our beloved Guruji for his immense blessings that he has showered upon us. Our Guruji is the ‘Karta’, he is the ‘One’.

“Karta Kare Na Kar Sake, Guru Kiye Sab Hoye

Teen Lok Nau Khand Mein, Guru Se Bada Na Koye”
